Sausage and Bean Stew

Ingredients:

  • 8 sausages
  • 400g tinned cannellini beans
  • 400g tinned tomatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 baking potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Blendship All Purpose Seasoning
  • 2 tsp Blendship Salt, Pepper, Garlic Seasoning

 

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, cook the sausages over medium heat until browned on all sides. Once cooked, remove them from the pot, slice into chunks, and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the chopped onion and carrots. Cook for 10 minutes and then add the sliced garlic and cubed potatoes. Season with Blendship All Purpose and SPG.
  3. Stir in the chopped potatoes and two tins full of water. Add the cannellini beans and some more seasoning.
  4. Return the sliced sausages to the pot, cover, and simmer the stew on low heat for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Cook until the potatoes are tender and the stew has thickened. Serve up and enjoy - lovely!
